Pakistan is home to one of the largest youth populations in the world. However, youth unemployment stands at over 11 per cent, with millions more trapped in informal, low-wage or skills-mismatched employment.
I urge the government to adopt a comprehensive national youth employment framework that integrates vocational training, public-private partnerships and incentivised hiring quotas for young graduates.
