The water supply pipes on Jamshed Road are broken in many places. Because of this, clean water does not reach our homes. Residents have to buy water from tankers at very high prices, which many poor families cannot afford. The water leaking from these pipes stays on the road and makes it wet and dirty all the time. There are big puddles everywhere, making it hard to walk or drive. The road is getting more damaged every day. The standing water has also become a breeding ground for mosquitoes, spreading diseases like dengue and malaria.
I kindly request the Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) and the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) to send a team to fix the broken pipes as soon as possible and restore clean water supply to our homes. We hope the authorities will take this matter seriously.
