LAHORE: Commissioner Lahore Division Marryam Khan chaired a meeting to review the progress of Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) development projects in view of the upcoming monsoon and rainy season.
DC Lahore Capt (retd) Ali Ijaz and CEO RUDA Imran Amin participated in the meeting in which CEO RUDA gave a detailed briefing on the development projects along the Ravi River. Commissioner Lahore said that RUDA, District Administration Lahore and Sheikhupura should complete the necessary activities through collaboration. She said that keeping in mind the floods, visits to the entire areas will be made from this week to review the preliminary works.
She said that preparations were also very important regarding the Theme Park, a joint team of Irrigation, Forest, Wasa, District Administration Lahore and RUDA should visit the Theme Park on the Ravi River this week.The meeting was attended by Additional Commissioner Hamid Malhi, ADCR Sheikhupura Usman Jalees, ACR Lahore Aleem Ahmed and RUDA directors.
