BANNU: Provincial Ombudsperson for anti-harassment, Rubab Mehdi, held a public forum in Bannu division and addressed public complaints on the spot.
Women presented numerous complaints about denial of inheritance rights, property disputes and harassment.Several complaints were resolved on the spot, while hearing dates were issued for long-pending cases.
Speaking on the occasion, Rubab Mehdi informed women and students about ways to register complaints from home about harassment and inheritance rights violations, reaffirming the government’s commitment to women’s empowerment and timely justice delivery.
