PESHAWAR: Around 55 persons highlighted various concerns during the e-Khuli Kutchehry organised by the Energy and Power Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa here on Sunday.
An official communique said that under the ongoing policy of the good governance road map to bring transparency in the administrative affairs of government institutions and to resolve public issues promptly, the Energy and Power Department organised the second online (live) e-Khuli Kutchehry in which people highlighted their issues and instructions were issued on the spot for their immediate resolution.
In this context, under the chairmanship of Secretary Energy and Power Nisar Ahmed, all the officers of the department, Special Secretary Habibullah Arif, Additional Secretaries Noor Khan Sherani and Noor Wali Khan, besides the heads of the subsidiary institutions PEDO, KPOGCL, Electric Inspectorate and KP Transmission and Grid System Company, all the officers and project directors participated in Khuli Kutchehry.
About 55 people from different districts of the province openly discussed the issues related to the Department and all its subsidiary institutions. The people declared the holding of the activity a revolutionary step of transparency and merit. Energy and Power Secretary Nisar Ahmad assured the public that efforts would be made to resolve public issues on the spot under the people-friendly policy of the government.
