Karachi is expected to experience hot and dry weather next week, with temperatures likely to reach 39°C due to anti-cyclonic conditions over the Gulf of Oman, said a weather expert.

The weather expert has forecast a slight increase in temperatures in parts of Sindh and Balochistan.

The expert further said there is a possibility of rain in parts of Sindh, including Karachi, in late April or early May.

According to an advisory issued by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Saturday, the weather will remain hot and dry in the metropolis today, with maximum temperatures likely to range between 37°C and 39°C.

It added that low humidity is contributing to the rise in temperatures.
