PESHAWAR: Director General of Capital Metropolitan Government Peshawar, Qadeer Naseer, conducted a surprise visit to General Bus Stand, Charsadda and Kohat Adda on Sunday despite the weekly holiday.
He interacted with passengers and inquired about fares being charged on various routes, reviewing whether relief measures announced by the government were being passed on to the public.
He warned transport stand administrations that licences would be cancelled if overcharging complaints were received and directed authorities to ensure provision of clean drinking water, waiting areas and washroom facilities for passengers.
