LAHORE:A container became lodged beneath the Campus Underpass after its driver ignored height restrictions and crashed through safety barriers before entering the underpass.
According to traffic police, the container became stuck under the structure, causing disruption to traffic flow in the area. The driver abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene after the incident. Traffic police teams reached the spot. After four hours efforts, the container was extracted and traffic movement was restored.Taking notice of the incident, CTO Syed Abdul Raheem Shirazi ordered action against the driver.
