LAHORE:Deputy Commissioner Lahore Captain (retd) Muhammad Ali Ijaz visited Naz Town and the Shadman Muharram procession route to review ongoing development, desilting, and cleanliness arrangements. He directed officials to complete desilting work within the set timeframe and improve drainage monitoring ahead of the monsoon season.
During inspection of the Shadman route, the DC reviewed Muharram arrangements and instructed removal of obstructions to ensure smooth procession routes. The administration said sanitation, medical and drainage teams will remain deployed during religious gatherings.
