ISLAMABAD: Preparations are being made to convene the Apex Committee meeting of the SIFC. According to sources, a preparatory meeting related to SIFC was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Sources said consultations were held regarding the SIFC affairs during the meeting, and preparations for Apex Committee session were reviewed.
It has been proposed that SIFC Apex Committee meeting should be convened soon. Federal government is taking various measures to attract domestic and foreign investment. The government has also decided to merge the Board of Investment with SIFC. This decision has been made to make the investment system more effective and integrated.
