ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco) Chief Executive Engineer Chaudhry Khalid Mahmood in his special message on the occasion of International Labour Day, paid tribute to workers around the world, and especially to the hardworking and dedicated employees of Iesco, says a press release.
He said that the tireless efforts, commitment, and sacrifices of workers play a fundamental role behind the economic progress, industrial stability, and national prosperity of any country.He stated that May 1st provides an opportunity to renew our commitment to collectively take effective and practical measures for the rights, dignity, and welfare of our workers.
He also paid tribute to the hardworking and dedicated line staff of Iesco, stating that they have continued to serve valued consumers and keep their homes illuminated despite all weather conditions and other difficult circumstances. He added that Iesco is proud of them.
