LAHORE:The Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) Principal Prof Dr Farooq Afzal inaugurated a modern, automated ‘Roti Plant’ at the Nursing Hostel of Lahore General Hospital (LGH).
This initiative aims to ensure the provision of hygienic, high-quality and timely meals to nursing officers and students residing in the hostel. The ceremony was attended by Principal College of Nursing Samina Kausar, senior nursing officers and students. Addressing the ceremony, Prof Dr Farooq Afzal highlighted that LGH has been a premier centre for nursing education for 64 years, fostering professional expertise and a spirit of humanity. He inspected the plant's various sections and issued strict directives to maintain the highest standards of hygiene, quality control and discipline.
