LAHORE: Speakers at a certificate distribution ceremony stressed that progress without knowledge of Computer Science is no longer possible in the modern world, where nations advance through technology and innovation.

Addressing the event, senior labour leader and Chairman of Bakhtiar Memorial Free Computer Education Centre (Registered), Lahore, Khurshid Ahmad said that developed countries have achieved economic and social growth by adopting modern computer technology, and Pakistan can also move forward by equipping its population with such knowledge. He emphasised the importance of providing Computer Science education to women, noting that they make up more than half of the country’s population.

Khurshid Ahmad urged the federal and provincial governments to ensure free quality education and vocational training for all, highlighting that millions of children remain out of school due to high education costs.
