ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) President of Islamabad Region, Aamir Mughal, said Thursday said the protest movement is fully alive and active, as hundreds of thousands of the party workers, office-bearers and ticket holders are standing with Imran Khan and his sisters.

Amir Mughal, who has faced around 60 cases of murder, attempted murder, rebellion, dacoity, kidnapping, theft, treason, terrorism registered against him, and has been absconding for one and a half years, mentioned the participation of workers outside Adiala Jail on April 7, 2026.

He alleged that during the protest on April 7, about 60 people were arrested.

He said dozens of workers coming from Chakri Motorway Rest Area Punjab were also arrested on the way while a new FIR has been registered against more than 400 workers, including himself (Aamir Mughal), at Saddar Beroni Police Station, Rawalpindi under the provisions of terrorism and attempt to murder against the police.

Aamir Mughal also strongly criticised those officials and ticket holders who did not participate in the protest or only took photo shoots and did not make any sacrifices.
