Pakistan stands at a strange crossroads. This is a country that has the ability to hold major negotiations at the global level and which wants to present itself as a responsible and dignified state. But the question is: can a country where the people do not have access to basic facilities like clean drinking water, electricity, health and education, really claim to lead the world?
The truth is that a strong country is not just one that plays a role in the world’s big decisions, but one that brings peace and confidence to the faces of its people. Until this contradiction is resolved, every great achievement will remain incomplete.
