Climate change has become one of the most serious challenges facing Pakistan today. The increasing temperature, unpredictable weather patterns and frequent natural disasters are clear signs that the situation is getting worse. Unfortunately, despite these alarming changes, there is still a lack of serious action and public awareness. Pakistan is among the countries most vulnerable to climate change. In recent years, we have witnessed devastating floods, extreme heatwaves and severe smog, especially in urban areas. These environmental issues not only damage the economy but also pose serious health risks. The main causes include deforestation, industrial pollution and excessive use of fossil fuels.

It is the responsibility of both the government and citizens to take immediate action. The government should strictly implement environmental laws, promote renewable energy and invest in tree plantation campaigns. Individuals must also play their part by reducing pollution, saving energy and protecting natural resources. If timely steps are not taken, the future of our coming generations will be at risk. Therefore, urgent and collective efforts are required to address this growing issue before it becomes irreversible.
