14 held in kite flying crackdown

LAHORE: Ghaziabad police arrested 14 people during a crackdown on kite flying.Police recovered kites and chemical-coated string during patrolling. Cases have been registered against the suspects.

Two held in Kahna assault case

Police arrested two suspects in an assault case reported in the Kahna area.A 19-year-old girl was allegedly lured to a house in Chung where she was assaulted.

Suspect held in firing outside house

Barki police arrested the main suspect involved in a firing incident outside a house.The arrest was made using CCTV footage after a case was registered on a citizen’s complaint. A weapon was also recovered.

Two die in separate incidents

Two people died in separate incidents in the city, according to Edhi officials.A man was killed by a train near Badami Bagh, while another body was found in Mughalpura. Both victims remain unidentified and bodies were shifted to the morgue.
