LAHORE:Liaquatabad Police have arrested an employee of a private company for staging a fake robbery call to misappropriate collection money.
According to the spokesperson, the suspect, who worked for a courier company, made a false call to helpline 15 claiming that four individuals had robbed him at gunpoint near Ali Park.
During initial investigation, the suspect confessed to the crime. Police recovered Rs127,000 from his possession and registered a case.
