LAHORE:Tibbi City Police have arrested a fake police officer involved in robbing citizens.
According to the spokesperson, the suspect was apprehended during an operation based on a tip-off. He used to stop citizens under the pretext of checking and rob them.
Police said the suspect had recently looted cash and mobile phones from citizens and fled.
During the incidents, he posed as a police officer using a motorcycle fitted with a blue light, police-style trousers, and shoes. He would accuse citizens of violating checkpoints, demand a search, and escape after taking valuables.
