LAHORE: Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique has said under the Chief Minister’s Adult Cardiac Surgery Programme, free treatment facilities worth over Rs3billion will be provided to heart patients annually.
Speaking at a meeting here on Monday, the minister stressed transparency in flagship health programmes, improving the quality of service and ensuring comprehensive monitoring for the convenience of patients.
Khawaja Salman Rafique said free treatment facilities worth billions of rupees have been provided to patients under all special programmes from the empaneled hospitals. ‘Historic and fundamental steps are being taken in the health sector.
There will be a clear reduction in the waiting list for surgery under this programme. All permanent residents of Punjab are included in this programme.
