MARDAN: A concern was raised in the district administration Mardan after receiving an official communication indicating that an administrative approval submitted to the authorities may be forged.
This has been highlighted in a letter No. 541 DC(M)/F&P issued by the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) F&P to the Tehsil Municipal Officer (TMO), indicating concerns regarding the authenticity of an administrative approval raised in a previous communication (No.
919/TMA (M) dated 10-04-2025). The communication issued by the ADC Mardan has clearly highlighted that the authenticity of an administrative approval raised in a previous communication may be questionable, as the signatures on the approval did not belong to either the deputy commissioner Mardan or the additional deputy commissioner (F&P). It was highlighted in the letter that both officials were not posted in Mardan in August 2024, a time frame within which the approval may have been raised.
In light of such differences, it was highlighted in the communication that “the above administrative approval has been found to be totally forged.” An immediate investigation into the matter has been called for to ascertain facts and fix responsibility. Copies of this communication have been sent to various officials, such as the commissioner Mardan Division and deputy commissioner Mardan.
