PESHAWAR: The Capital City Police claimed arresting two alleged target killers on Wednesday.
According to Capital City Police Officer of Peshawar, Mian Saeed Ahmad, the cops during an operation arrested the two target killers.
He said an attempt to attack Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly former deputy speaker Mahmood Jan and his cousin was foiled.The official said the arrested suspects, Haris, son of Tajuddin; and Musa Khan, son of Afsar Khan, belonged to Isakhel village in Sufaid Sang area.
He said the arrested suspects had planned a major attack that was timely foiled. The police said the accused were arrested from Sufaid Dheri. Police lodged a case and launched further investigation.
The Isakhel tribesmen and the family of former deputy speaker have enmity over a property in the area. Several clashes have taken place between the two parties in the last several years during which multiple lives have been lost.
