PESHAWAR: A senior doctor was shot and wounded while on way back home from his clinic in University Town on Wednesday.
A police official said unidentified motorists opened fire on Dr Asif Malik on the Circular Road in University Town close to his residence.
The doctor was injured and rushed to hospital. Police arrived at the spot and collected evidence as well as CCTV footage. A police official said three empties 30 bore pistols were recovered from the spot.
