ISLAMABAD: The federal government has withdrawn the nominations of 20 officers in a significant reshuffle related to the Mid-Career Management Course (MCMC), a mandatory training requirement for promotion to BS-19.
In a parallel move, 42 officers have been granted fresh nominations, while the training stations of six officers have also been changed, according to an official notification issued by the Establishment Division.
Among those affected, the nominations of nine officers belonging to the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) have been withdrawn. These include SSP (PTC) Shahdadpur Sindh Zahida Parveen, Nausherwan Ali, currently at the disposal of the Punjab government, Battalion Commander 3 PC Multan Jalil Imran Khan, CTO Murree Imran Razaq, SP Special Branch Multan Tahir Mustafa, SSP (RIB) Multan Naeem Shahid, SP Special Branch Lahore Irfan Aamir, SSP (Operations) Gujranwala Ghayyur Ahmed Khan, and Additional SP (Operations) Cantt Lahore Akhlaqullah.
Similarly, five officers from the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS)—Shayan Ali Jawa, Omar Iftikhar Shirazi, Talha Zubair, Sania Safi, and Zainul Abidin Memon—have also had their nominations withdrawn. In addition, four officers of the Office Management Group (OMG), namely Aqsa Jamal, Abeera Dilawar, Muhammad Asghar, and Waqas Ali Khan, have been removed from the nomination list.
The reshuffle also includes the withdrawal of nominations of two officers from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government, Rehmat Ali and Aftab Ahmed Khan.
