MANSEHRA: The widow of former member of provincial assembly Mian Waliur Rehman died of a protracted illness in the Kotgalli area of Balakot here on Sunday.
She was the mother of former MPA Mian Ziaur Rehman and Ghulam Qasim.
The deceased was laid to rest at a local graveyard.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Babar Saleem Swati, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sardar Mohammad Yusuf, MPAs Munir Hussain Lughmani and Sardar Shahjehan Yusuf, former provincial minister Syed Ahmad Hussain Shah, President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz Syed Junaid Qasim and others showed up at the funeral prayer.
