PESHAWAR: Additional Inspector General of Police Awal Khan retired from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police after attaining the age of superannuation.
Awal Khan belonged to the 24th CTP and was currently serving as Ad IG at the Central Police Office in Peshawar. He previously served as regional police officer Kohat, DIG Investigation and against other key positions in KP and other provinces.
The officer was regarded as one of the humblest and simplest cops who always took care of his colleagues and subordinates. He was known for welcoming every complainant coming to his office.
Many of his colleagues, juniors and people from all walks of life congratulated Awal Khan for completing a successful career throughout which he served with dignity and respect and performed his duties as a true professional.
