ISLAMABAD: The Senate Standing Committee on Water Resources has unanimously elected Senator Jam Saifullah Khan as its new chairman.
Senator Khalil Tahir Sandhu proposed his name for the position, which was seconded by Senator Poonjo Bheel. Following the unanimous vote, committee members congratulated Senator Jam Saifullah Khan and pledged their full support in achieving the committee’s objectives.
In his remarks, the newly elected chairman thanked the members for their confidence and assured that he would work collaboratively on policy-making, oversight, and other initiatives concerning the country’s water resources.
