LAHORE:The preparations for the Chrysanthemum Show organised by the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) Lahore are in full swing.
PHA teams have so far transferred 14,454 flower pots, including marigold and French marigold, from various nurseries to the Oval Ground of Jilani Park. In accordance with the vision of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, horticulture experts are supervising the decorative arrangements to make the exhibition more attractive for the general public.
These details were shared by PHA Lahore Managing Director, Raja Mansoor Ahmed, during his visit to Jilani Park to review the preparations. Additional Director General Zeeshan Nasrullah Ranjha accompanied him on the occasion. Raja Mansoor informed that 1,555 pots have been transferred from Zone 1, 1,200 from Zone 2, and 262 from Zone 3 to the Oval Ground.
Additionally, 1,832 pots from Zone 4, 1,025 from Zone 5, 1,086 from Zone 6, and 3,791 from Zone 7 have been added to the exhibition site. He stated that 683 pots from Zone 8, 398 from Mall Road, 230 from Jallo, and 848 from Bagh-i-Jinnah have also been brought to the venue.
