As of March 2026, the City Traffic Police have transitioned to a new uniform that replaces the sky blue shirts with a more modern and professional-looking Navy Blue & White scheme. It is expected to be more suitable for Lahore’s tough summers. The shift is part of a broader Modernisation Initiative for the Punjab Police. Alongside the new look, the force has introduced electric patrolling vehicles linked to the Safe Cities Authority to reduce the fuel cost and the environmental impact.
