hake Films has unveiled the motion picture poster and teaster-trailer for Bullah, its upcoming Punjabi-language action film, positioning it as one of the most high-profile Pakistani production slated for a release in 2026.

Headlined by Shaan Shahid, the cast includes Mona Liza, Naeema Butt, Adnan Butt, Ali Josh, Maham Mirza and Asif Khan. The film is set for a nationwide theatrical release this Eidul Fitr.

One of Bullah’s most talked-about elements is the long-awaited on-screen reunion of Shaan Shahid and Saleem Sheikh, nearly three decades after they last appeared together.

The pairing has generated considerable anticipation among fans and industry insiders alike.

Directed by Shoaib Khan, Bullah is described as a contemporary story about standing up to injustice, deeply connected to Punjab’s culture and spiritual traditions.

Speaking about the project, director Shoaib Khan said, “Bullah is a labour of love and hard work that will speak to a global audience. It addresses universal themes of oppression, resistance, faith and dignity while remaining deeply rooted in Punjabi culture.”

Shaan Shahid, who plays the titular role, views the film as more than entertainment. “Bullah is not just a film, it’s a voice.

The screenplay is written by veteran writer Nasir Adeeb, whose longstanding contribution to South Asian cinema adds further weight to the project.
