ISLAMABAD: The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) has constituted committees for interviewing candidates to be nominated till July 4, 2026 for appointment as additional judges for the four high courts of the country.
According to the notification issued the other day by the Judicial Commission of Pakistan, Chief Justice of Pakistan, being the chairman of the commission, constituted the said committeesFor Lahore High Court, the commission constituted a seven-member committee with Justice Syed Hassan Azhar Rizvi, judge Federal Constitutional Court as chairperson with six members including Justice Miss Aalia Neelum, CJ, LHC, Justice Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar, CJ, IHC, Mansoor Usman Awan, Attorney General, Senator Farooq Hamid Naek, Senator Syed Ali Zafar and Muhammad Ahsan Bhoon, ASC.
Similarly for Islamabad High Court, a seven-member committee was constituted with Justice Syed Hassan Azhar Rizvi, Judge, FCCP as chairperson along with members including Justice Miss Aalia Neelum, CJ, LHC, Justice Muhammad Sarfraz Dogar, CJ, IHC, Mansoor Usman Awan, Attorney General, Senator Farooq Hamid Naek, Senator Syed Ali Zafar and Muhammad Ahsan Bhoon, ASC.
For High Court of Sindh, the committee formed with Justice Aamer Farooq, Judge, FCCP as its chairperson along with members including Justice Miss Aalia Neelum, CJ, LHC, Justice Zafar Ahmed Rajpoot, CJ, SHC, Mansoor Usman Awan, Attorney General, Senator Syed Ali Zafar and Muhammad Ahsan Bhoon.
For High Court of Balochistan, a committee constituted with Justice Aamer Farooq as chairperson along with members including Justice Miss Aalia Neelum, CJ LHC, Justice Muhammad Kamran Khan Malakhail CJ, BHC, Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan, Senator Farooq Hamid Naek, Senator Ali Zafar and Muhamamd Ahsen Bhoon.
