MUZAFFARABAD: AJK Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (AJK PMLN) President Shah Ghulam Qadir on Thursday said the general elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir must be held as per schedule under all circumstances, and PMLN will discourage any attempt for postponement.
Addressing a press conference at the Central Press Club here, he claimed that the PMLN will get a landslide victory and form the government. He said the only solution to the political, economic, and administrative problems faced by the people of Azad Kashmir was transparent and timely elections. He directed the party workers to further accelerate the election campaign and go door to door to convey the PMLN’s message to the public.
He said upon coming to power, the PMLN will address the grievances of the people, create employment opportunities, ensure provision of basic facilities, and end the hardships faced by the public. He said the food items’ crisis in Azad Kashmir had taken a serious turn, and it was the government’s responsibility to resolve the problem.
