LAHORE:Medical Superintendent of Lahore General Hospital (LGH) Prof Dr Faryad Hussain has said the urgent need to enhance the professional skills of young doctors to deliver modern medical care to children.
Speaking at a specialised training workshop titled, Pediatric Ventilation and Management of Critically Ill Children, Dr Faryad highlighted that regular training workshops are essential for improving the standards of pediatric treatment. The workshop, organised by the Pediatric Critical Care team, was attended by a large number of senior faculty members and young doctors, including Prof M Shahid, Prof Hassan Suleman and other experts.
Medical experts stressed that the training will help align clinical practices with the latest medical research and modern technology. The sessions focused on advanced ventilation strategies in Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICUs), new technologies for respiratory support, and evidence-based practices for saving young lives.
The participants appreciated the initiative, stating that such hands-on training programs are vital for sharpening the skills of young doctors, ensuring patient safety and raising the overall standard of pediatric care. They reaffirmed their commitment to continuous learning and collaboration for delivering high-quality healthcare services to children.
