RAWALPIND: Mubashara Maneka, daughter of Bushra Bibi, has sent a written complaint to the Punjab Home Secretary demanding action against a jail official for negligence, mistreatment and inhumane behaviour with the former First Lady.
The copies of the petition have been sent to the Punjab Inspector General (IG) Prisons, the Punjab Home Secretary and the Superintendent of Adiala Jail. Bushra Bibi’s daughter has also complained to the Rawalpindi Police to register a case against the jail administration.
Mubashara Maneka has demanded action over Bushra Bibi’s serious complaints. The petition states that during a meeting on May 26, her mother accused jail official, Maryam, of alleged negligence, mistreatment and inhumane behaviour in view of her eye infection.
