LAHORE:Punjab Safe Cities Authority has finalised special security arrangements through Smart Safe City Pakpattan for the 784th Urs of Hazrat Baba Fariduddin Masood Ganjshakar (RA).
According to the authority’s spokesperson, over 300 cameras are monitoring the shrine, surrounding areas, and key routes, while portable 4G cameras and drones are being used for surveillance. A dedicated control room has been established to ensure coordination among police and other agencies.
Modern tools including facial recognition and AI-based systems are being used to monitor suspicious activities, while facilities such as QR panic buttons, free Wi-Fi, and emergency services have been provided for devotees. Authorities have urged citizens to report any suspicious activity through the Emergency Helpline 15.
