Zhob District is currently highly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change due to changing environmental conditions and a lack of awareness about the importance of tree plantation among its residents. This situation has contributed to the region becoming increasingly climate-stressed. During the scorching summer heat, people -- particularly labourers, daily wage workers, sanitation workers, students, and salaried employees -- face significant difficulties commuting to their workplaces. These harsh conditions make daily life more challenging and affect their ability to earn a livelihood and support their families.

Moreover, climate patterns have been changing over the last two decades, mainly due to human activities such as deforestation, vehicular emissions, burning of fossil fuels and industrial activities. These factors greatly contribute to climate vulnerability. In this regard, a series of measures such as tree plantation, control of fossil fuel use and the imposition of environmental taxes on large industries should be implemented to reduce the environmental impacts of climate change.
