Islamabad:The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) has launched a comprehensive capacity building programme for heads of Islamabad's public schools and colleges on the directions of the education secretary.
The 15-day Strategic Leadership Training, organised in collaboration with ISAPS, marks the introduction of the FDE’s new Professional Development Framework, promoting structured, competency-based learning and strengthening educational leadership across federal institutions, according to officials.
They said over 800 current and aspiring head teachers will benefit from this initiative, enhancing leadership capacity and driving excellence in schools and colleges across Islamabad. Education secretary Nadeem Mahbub said that system performance cannot improve without strengthening leadership at institutional level. He also extended his expectations to HoIs to utilise the learning in their institutions to the maximum potential.
