2 women among 3 killed in Mardan

MARDAN: Three persons, including two women, were killed over a land dispute in Kundar village in the limits of Garhi Kapoora Police Station on Tuesday, police officials said.

Ziyad Ali, a resident of Kandar village, told the police that he was sleeping in his room while his father, Ajmal Khan, his mother, and his wife were in another room. He said that he suddenly heard gunfire and immediately came out of his room to see what had happened.

According to Ziyad Ali, he saw his neighbours Bilal, Mubashir, Noorul Basar, sons of Abdul Kalam, and Shah Faisal, Ali Zaman, residents of Dobyan, entering his house, carrying weapons. According to Ziyad Ali, he saw Kalam, Shah Faisal, and Ali Zaman, all residents of Dobyan, entering his house armed with weapons.
