LAHORE:Five international, 37 national and 471 PU research projects are being executed in various departments of the Punjab University.
This information was shared by Office of Research Innovation & Commercialisation (ORIC) Director Engr Prof Dr Aqil Inam while briefing the steering committee meeting of the Punjab University's ORIC which was held under the chairmanship of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr M Ali here on Thursday.
ORIC Director Dr Aqil Inam also shared that five new national patents are granted to PU in this financial year. He appraised the house about the newly approved RIC Policy 2026 and discussed its salient features. “The policy focuses on incentivising of the PU faculty as well as the university”.
The arrangements for 11th Invention to Innovation Summit 2026 in collaboration with PHEC, PINTEC 26 were also discussed during the session. Pakistan-China scientific mega technology expo arrangements were also discussed on this occasion.
