LAHORE:Police arrested a man accused of throwing acid on six people in the Walled City area, five days after the attack.
The incident stemmed from a dispute that took place at a shop in Rang Mahal, where several individuals allegedly mocked a man identified as Rashid. The exchange escalated into a verbal altercation before shopkeepers intervened and resolved the matter. However, police said the suspect later returned with acid, which he allegedly threw at six people gathered at the location. The victims sustained burn injuries and were shifted to hospital. Police registered a case and arrested the accused.
