‘Patient-friendly policies key to earning global recognition’

LAHORE : Ameeruddin Medical College Principal Prof Dr Farooq Afzal said that medical institutions can earn a distinguished position on the global stage through quality medical education, promotion of clinical research and patient-friendly policies.

Speaking on the occasion of presenting a bouquet to MS LGH Prof Dr Faryad Hussain in recognition of his outstanding one-year performance, Prof Dr Farooq Afzal said that PGMI, AMC, College of Nursing, School of Allied Health Sciences and LGH have made this goal their top priority.

He stressed the importance of continuously enhancing the professional skills of young doctors and faculty members, strengthening the culture of clinical research and providing state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic facilities to bring these institutions up to international standards. He added that doctors, nurses, paramedical staff and the administrative team are collectively working with full professional commitment to deliver the best healthcare services to the public.

MS LGH Prof Dr Faryad Hussain while appreciating Prof Dr Farooq’s revolutionary performance over the past year, presented him with a bouquet and extended best wishes. He said that under Prof Dr Farooq Afzal’s visionary leadership, transparency and tireless efforts, remarkable and sustainable improvements have been made in PGMI, AMC and LGH.

Prof Dr Faryad Hussain stated that patient-friendly policies, strict discipline and the adoption of modern technology have significantly elevated the standard of LGH. He added that these initiatives have not only benefited patients from remote areas but have also greatly enhanced the professional skills of young doctors and faculty members.
