MANSEHRA: The boundary wall of a power grid station collapsed in Balakot town on Monday.According to residents, no loss of life was reported in the incident as nobody was present near the wall at the time. The wall had been constructed around two years ago.
They said the wall had developed dangerous cracks earlier this year allegedly due to the use of substandard material. They added that officials of WAPDA posted at the grid station had been informed, but no action was taken.
The residents demanded that the government reconstruct the damaged boundary wall, as people frequently pass through the area surrounding the grid station located in the heart of Balakot town.
