LAHORE : Central Business District (CBD Punjab) CEO Imran Amin conducted a high-level visit to the site of CBD NSIT City, Pakistan’s first and largest IT city, to evaluate the ongoing pace of infrastructure development.
Expressing his view on the progress, Imran Amin stated, “CBD NSIT City is a game-changing initiative for Punjab’s IT sector. Our top priority is to ensure the swift completion of these development works while strictly maintaining international standards. This will pave the way for timely local and foreign investments.”
During the visit, CBD Punjab CEO closely inspected the construction progress of the grand entrance gate, the main entrance patch and the central park. Director Project Management CBD Punjab, Asif Iqbal, provided a comprehensive briefing regarding the development milestones achieved so far and the timeline for upcoming phases. The site review was also attended by Director Construction Asif Babar, Project Director NSIT City Yasir Saifullah, NESPAK officials, and project contractors.
The briefing highlighted that the construction of the main pillars for the entrance gate is advancing rapidly, while the water-bound macadam work on the main entrance patch has already been successfully completed.
While interacting directly with the on-site contractors, the CEO CBD Punjab issued strict directives to accelerate the pace of work on the entrance gate and the central park. He emphasised that project completion timelines must be strictly met without compromising on workplace safety protocols and construction quality.
