LAHORE : A 10-year-old boy died after a rope allegedly became entangled around his neck while he was playing on a swing in Gujjarpura area.
The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of Gujjarpura police station. Police said they reached the scene immediately after receiving information about the incident. During the initial investigation, family members told police that the child, identified as M Ahmad, was swinging when the rope suddenly got stuck around his neck, leading to the fatal accident.
Police shifted the body to hospital for post-mortem examination and collected evidence from the scene. Officials said investigations were under way from different angles to determine the exact circumstances of the incident.
