Islamabad : The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Anti-Corruption Circle has sealed two illegal factories manufacturing counterfeit dental products and veterinary medicines during separate raids over the last 48 hours.
The operations, conducted across Rawalpindi and Islamabad, were carried out on the directives of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and FIA Director General Dr. Usman Anwar, under the direct supervision of FIA Islamabad Zone Director Syed Shahzad Nadeem Bukhari.
In the first operation, FIA officials raided a residential property located in Sector H-13, uncovering an illegal factory allegedly set up for the unauthorised production of artificial human teeth and jaw structures.
The second raid took place at a flat in Satellite Town, Rawalpindi, where teams discovered an illegal facility manufacturing counterfeit veterinary medicines intended for animals.
Following the raids, the agency sealed both premises and formally initiated criminal investigations into the operations.
