LGH doctors remove metal piece from child’s lungs

LAHORE : Doctors at Lahore General Hospital saved the life of a child who accidentally swallowed a metal object that reached his lungs.

The incident occurred while the child was playing and put a metal piece in his mouth. His father rushed him to the hospital’s emergency department, where medical staff provided immediate care. A timely endoscopy was performed by Prof Hassan Suleman Malik and DrHooriaRehman, who successfully removed the foreign object from the child’s lungs. Principal Prof Dr Farooq Afzal commended the doctors for their swift response and professional expertise in handling the critical case.
