ISLAMABAD: The meeting of the High Powered Selection Board, convened to consider the promotion of federal officers from BS-21 to BS-22, has been postponed until June.
According to sources, the board meeting was initially scheduled for May 20. However, it could not be held due to the busy schedule of Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar.
Sources said that seven officers from the Pakistan Administrative Service are expected to be promoted to BS-22 during the meeting. In addition, five officers from the Police Service and one officer from the Secretariat Group are also likely to receive promotions.
One officer each from the Inland Revenue Service and the Information Group is also expected to be promoted.
