CHARSADDA: The body of a 16-year old boy, who had been kidnapped nine days ago, was recovered near the banks of the Swat River, family members said.

They said that Hamza had gone missing from the limits of Parang Police Station some nine days earlier and his body was later found near the banks of Swat River.

Following the recovery of the body, the victim’s father, Murad Ali, accused the police of negligence, claiming that he had approached time and again the authorities after his son’s kidnapping, but no serious action was taken.

He alleged that his son had been abducted by four persons identified as Tariq, Aurangzeb, Umray and Sajjad, and demanded that a murder case be registered against the same accused.
