PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced summer vacations for educational institutions in the province’s plain areas, starting from May 22.
According to an official notification, summer holidays in the plain regions will be observed from June 1 to August 31, 2026.
However, due to Eid holidays along with the weekly Friday, Saturday, and Sunday holidays falling on May 22, educational institutions will effectively close from that date. Meanwhile, the schedule for summer vacations in the mountainous regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had already been announced earlier, with holidays to be observed from July 1 to July 31.
