KARACHI: The Pakistan Single Window (PSW) and the National Information Technology Board (NITB) have signed a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on digitising and integrating citizen-facing government services under the Digital Economy Enhancement Project (DEEP), a World Bank-funded initiative.
Under the agreement, NITB will serve as the technology partner for DEEP and work with PSW to identify, design, and integrate selected services into Pakistan’s unified citizen services platform, with a focus on interoperability, API enablement, workflow optimisation, and user-centric delivery, said a press release on Monday.
PSW Chief Executive Syed Aftab Haider said the partnership would apply lessons from transforming international trade to the broader digital economy, with the goal of making government services accessible with a single click.
DEEP Project Director Faisal Mumtaz said the initiative would enable government institutions to modernise service delivery through secure data exchange and seamless digital experiences for citizens.
